Xchange Blogs
Welcome to Xchange Blogs. This blog hosting platform
will host the main conference blog for current and past Xchange
conferences as well as allow delegates to have their own blogs to
interact and build community. November Learning Communites is
the software that is serving up this blogging platform
and is being sponsored by November Learning. This
web based software is a leading blog hosting platform for education.
In the main conference blogs, delegates at Xchange can offer
commentary and feedback on any of the keynote sessions, on any of the
issues and challenges raised during those presentations and on any of
the delegate table discussion sessions. Delegates can
initiate an online conversation with fellow delegates through the
official blogging site for Xchange.
Blogs and Goals
For the Xchange 2005 Blog, Alan November's team reviewed and analysed
the postings that people had made to the blogs on what their goals
would be. They felt that; 37 postings related to Building Learning
Communities, 27 comments were on Leadership and Managing Change; 19
were on the Digital Divide, 18 on Special Education and 16 on Out of
School Learning. This suggests that participants think that factors
beyond the normal school curriculum are what key in implementing ICT
and e-learning.
